Even though our bags and scarves are very durable,
Extra care should be taken to keep your product in perfect condition:
Méa Méa products are handmade in Italy using only the most luxurious materials. Our bags are crafted from fine Italian Box calf leather. The skins have a smooth surface, giving it a soft and luxurious hand feel. Each leather skin is unique, so color differences or vein marks may appear and are natural features. This adds to the charm of this leather luxury item.
Warning
Méa Méa hardware, uses platina-gold colored plated hardware on your Méa Méa bag. The platina-golden hardwares will not loose clarity and color if handled with special care. Avoid any contact with other surfaces. Avoid all contacts with liquids and especially cremes or hand lotions. Please note that Méa Méa cannot accept any complaints due to loss of color of our platina-gold plated hardwares
Logo | The golden Méa Méa logo is placed on the leather via a heat transferred foil print. The golden logo will not loose clarity and color if handled with special care. Avoid any contact with other surfaces. Avoid all contacts with liquids and especially cremes or hand lotions. Please note that Méa Méa cannot accept any complaints due to loss of color, loss of clarity and/or damages of the Méa Méa logo.
Handle with care | The Méa Méa products are solely made to use for its purpose as a fashionable product and not made for any other use or purpose whatsoever. Méa Méa is not liable for defects and / or damages caused by: a normal wear and tear, including, without limitation, wear and tear of the skin and / or the liner and / or the hardware and / or the sole of the Méa Méa product; b rough handling, including, without limitation, defects and / or damages caused by dropping, bending, dragging, scrubbing, etc. of the Méa Méa product; or c improper use of the Méa Méa product, including, without limitation, use that is contrary to the (cleaning) instructions provided by Méa Méa (e.g. as set out on the website or in the Méa Méa product’s leaflet)
Care instructions
Box calf
Méa Méa leather products are handcrafted from the finest box calf leather. Being a product of nature, the leather will mold to your way of life. Any imperfections are characteristic features of the leather and not a flaw.
Leather is sensitive to the effect of light, humidity, and water. In the event of contact with water, it should be dried promptly with a soft cloth. To preserve its natural softness, Méa Méa recommends treating it with a neutral leather care product and storing it in the protective dust bag provided.
• Wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth
• Do not overload your bag
• Avoid contact with darker colored materials
• In case of accidental scratches, reduce by massaging the skin gently
• Store in the dust bag for minimal exposure to dust and the elements
• Protect from exposure to extreme (sun)light and humidity
• Avoid contact with grease, mud, dirt, rough surfaces and rain
• Extra care should be taken to protect white and light colored handbags
• Clean by a leather specialist only
Silk
Méa Méa scarves are crafted in Italy from the finest Italian silk. Its hand-rolled edges ensure a sophisticated drape. Being a product of nature, silk will warm you in winter, and keep you cool in summer.
Silk is sensitive to the exposure of sun, fragrances and rain. For cleaning any type of stain, offer to a specialized dry cleaner. Méa Méa recommends carefully storing your silk scarf in its protective box.
